Blair Setford began playing fastball at the
age of 7 in Jordan, Ontario and has been playing ever since.
Since joining the Mississauga Fastball League in 1994, he's
been a team rep, player/manager and league executive member.
He joined the ISC in 2003 and initiated the
current ISC II broadcast program in 2004. Partnering with
Jim Flanagan and the rest of the BallParkRadio crew, nearly
100 ISC II games have been aired over the past three years
and the audience size has tripled as the ISC II program
continues to grow in popularity.
In
addition to his duties as ISC II Commissioner, Blair was the
founder of the Golden Horseshoe Fastball League, and
serves as webmaster for their website,
http://www.ghfl.ca
Listeners enjoy Blair's extensive knowledge of the game, and
polished performances behind the mike, and appreciate his
work building the ISC II broadcast program over the
past four years. Says Jim Flanagan "No one knows more
about the ISC II game than Blair, and his leadership is the
reason that the program has been such a success."
Blair and his wife Monique and their two children, Benjamin
and Natasha, live in Mississauga, Ontario.
