Vin Scully Audio Clips

There are many, many audio clips of Vin Scully’s fine work.  This page is a collection of some of my favorite clips, including some historic moments in baseball.  It is a work in progress, so check back to see what we've added.  The files are large so please be patient while they download.  If you have an audio clip of Vin Scully, or suggestion for one for us to locate, send an email to jim (at) ballparkradio.com.

"Look out, there's a rabbit loose!"   June 24, 2004, Dodgers vs. Yankees in interleague game.  Vin's exciting call of what turned into an error-aided inside the parker by Dave Roberts. In an interleague game between the Dodgers and the Yankees, June 24, 2004.  Speedy leadoff man Dave Roberts stroked a single to left field.  Yankee left fielder Hideki Matsui came up on the ball a bit too quick and the ball scoots by him all the way into the corner.  And Roberts is off to the races.   I was lucky enough to be at this game, and am not sure what was more exciting -- watching it, or listening to Vin's call. Fortunately for me, I had a radio with me and got to do both. Who would know that Dave Roberts, featured in this clip, would be turning the Yankees on their ear, months later, as a member of the Red Sox?
